GAP Year Life
As one of our students we invest a great deal into your spiritual life and learning. We meet weekly for training and biblical teaching, spend time in worship and prayer together. We have fun to!!! It's just as important that we relax and socialise as often as possible and enjoy each other's company.
As part of your year with us you will be fully involved in high school life again. Helping to run the Christian Union, delivering lessons and assemblies and assisting in Religious Studies Lessons.
Detached Street Outreach
Friday nights are detached nights, where Warrington YFC staff members and GAP Year Students creatively engage young people 'where they are at', on the streets and in the parks. As a result of years of detached street outreach some of our workers have set up and run diversion projects that engage the young people in a variety of activities.
Deadline for 2016 Submissions
We are looking for relational, committed, Jesus loving young people aged 18-26 to join our team every year from September to July.
Some of our students that apply are local to the Warrington area and choose to stay at home, however if you are a non local or international student then as part of your year we place you within a thriving and friendly supporting Church.
You will be welcomed into their church family and serve alongside their youth leaders on occasion too. Your accommodation will also be provided for by the same Church.
